Beer produced by Klosterbrauerei Andechs, DE Appearance: The beer is clear red-brown, with a tan head leaving some lacing. (4) Aroma: The smell is fruity ,grassy and yeasty, dry and fresh grass, some honey. (4) Taste: The taste is rather sweet, raisins and dates, acidity - green apples and pears. (3.5) Palate: Medium carbonation, medium complexity, a somewhat sticky feeling. (3.5) Overall: Not at all bad. (3.5) bottle. Sampled at a "blind" beer tasting at De Klomp, Linköping, Sweden. We did nail it. |
