Beer produced by Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, US/NV Appearance: The beer is dark amber copper, with an off-white head that settles quickly leaving some lacing and curtains. (3.5) Aroma: Smelling mostly of malt, dark bread, dough and grain, some sweet toffee tones. (3.5) Taste: Rather sweet, toffee and syrup, and also much bread, very little bitterness. (3.5) Palate: Medium carbonation, surprisingly dry finish. A nice after-warmth. (4) Overall: A good beer if you are looking for malt, rather typical for the style. (3.5) bottle |
