But also a tad alcoholic, sherry, acetyl (björnklister). (4.5) Taste: The taste is overpowering in the dried fruit area, figs, dates, but also raw sugar and madeira. (4.5) Palate: Little carbonation, a very complex feeling. (4) Overall: A lot of sweetness and taste in this one, a dessert in itself. (4) On tap, sampled at a beer tasting. |

(4) Aroma: The smell is malty, dried fruits, apricot and banana, fresh dark bread with a hint of caramel. And some lemon zest bitterness. (4) Taste: The taste is sweet dried fruits, caramel and brown bread. Fruit acidity, orange and pear. A nice bitter finish, grape fruit seeds. Some sherry notes. (4.5) Palate: Rather high carbonation, small bubbles. Oily and creamy. (4.5) Overall: A really well balanced tripel. (4) Bottle, 330 ml. |

(3.5) Aroma: The smell is the typical spices, cardamom, cumin, citric fruits, bitter orange, sweet syrup, bread loafs and some yeast. (4.5) Taste: The taste is starting with a clean toffee sweetness, acid tones from lemon and oranges, spicy notes, clove and cardamom, a little bitterness like orange seeds. (4.5) Palate: A rather mild carbonation and a fresh, yet rich and complex feeling. (4) Overall: A typical sunset, or sitting-on the porch beer. Or why not to a spicy soup. (4) bottle |
