Beer produced by Brasserie Thiriez, FR Appearance: The beer is deep brass colored, starting clear but with much sediments fogging it. A white fizzy head that settles leaving little lacing, some curtains. (4) Aroma: Smelling fresh fruits, rhubarbs, lemon, some mineral notes. (4) Taste: Starting sweet and fruity, lemon, bitter orange, grape tonic, an alkaloid bitter finish. (3.5) Palate: High carbonation, rather smooth and refreshing initially then a coarse dry finish. Small body. (3.5) Overall: Lack some body, and has a bit too mineral/alkaloid notes. But not a bad beer in all. (3.5) Bottle 330 ml |

Beer produced by Brasserie Thiriez, FR Appearance: A brown/red brew, almost clear, an off-white head that is very short-lived, fizzy, leaving no lacing, small curtains. (2.5) Aroma: Smelling dusty and old cellar, dried yellow peas. (2.5) Taste: Starting sweet, some brown bread, red fruit marmalade, old wet concrete and some bitter metallic finish. (3) Palate: Little carbonation, fizzy bubbles, rather soft and slightly oily texture, medium body. (3) Overall: Not interesting enough, just too sweet and a bit off. (3.5) Aroma: The smell is funky yeasty, spices and lime almond. (3) Taste: Tasting sweet lemon marmalade, cardamom and clove. (3.5) Palate: High carbonation, small foamy bubbles, a medium body, a dry finish. (3.5) Overall: Feels very genuine, like beer made for centuries. (4) Bottle 330 ml |

(4) Aroma: Funky sweet, almost perfume, wood, sour fruits. (3) Taste: Some sweet old fruits, stable nuances, balsamic vinegar. (4) Palate: Medium carbonation, small foamy bubbles, fresh and lively texture, a sour dry finish. Beer produced by Brasserie Thiriez, FR Appearance: A hazy pale orange brew, a high white head that settles slowly and leaves good lacing. Good curtains. (4) Aroma: The smell is sweet and malty, porridge with brown sugar, but also hoppy grass aromas. Some spices, clove, cardamom. (3.5) Taste: The taste is less sweet, some upfront brown sugar, then bitter oranges and clove, grape-fruit peel. (3.5) Palate: Medium low carbonation, slightly sticky, a medium body, a coarse dry finish. (3.5) Overall: A heavy sweet aroma that is not noticed in the beer which is lighter and drier than expected.
