Apperance: The beer has a nice amber tone, an off-white head that leaves rather little lacing. (3.5)
Aroma: The smell is a bit on the sweet side with raisins but also hops, (3.5)
Taste: Taste has a good bitter taste after having started in the sweet caramel and almost sherry-like area. The alcohol is present in a nice way, enhancing the flavors. (4.5)
Palate: The carbonation is rather mild but very nice. (4)
Overall: A really good strong ale. (4)
