Apperance: The beer is black, pitch black, has a brown slightly uneven head, some lacing and good curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smells of dark dried fruit, and a whiff of forest fire. (3)
Flavor: Starts sweet, brown sugar, burnt bread, some fig and dates, oranges and cured meat. A slightly dough character. (3.5)
Palate: Little carbonation, soft but rather fresh texture, rather small body, not dry. (3)
Overall: A nice rather interesting composition, but not really above average. (3)
