Beer Geek Brunch Weasel Islay Edition

Apperance: The brew is clear but very dark brown, almost black, a small tan head that leaves some lacing and has very good curtains. (4.5)
Aroma: The smell is wet salt wood, peat, smoke and ashes. Reminds me of a sunny tared bridge on the west coast. (4)
Taste: the taste starts sweet, dark syrup on dark sweet bread, ashes sprinkled with salt water and sea weed. Coffee, concrete and a smooth bitter finish perfects the experience. (5)
Palate: Low carbonation, smooth oily and sticky, a warm fuzzy feeling with a hint of dryness. (4.5)
Overall: A really fantastic near-Islay experience. Best brunch ever! (4.5)
