Apperance: A clear dep amber brew, small bubbles, a small head that leaves little lacing and rather small curtains. (3)
Aroma: Malty notes, brown bread, some nuts, raisins and a whiff of orange zest. (3)
Taste: Starting with the brown bread notes, some porridge taste, then a bitter orange peel with a metallic finish. (2.5)
Palate: Low carbonation, rather smooth texture - a bit flat, a small body and a short dry bitter finish. (2)
Overall: Well, it is not worse than expected, but not really something to remember, unless you really need to bring beer in plastic bottles. It is not an American Pale Lager in my book. More a rather well hopped Vienna Lager. (2.5)
