Apperance: A brown clear brew, with a tan head, little lacing but good curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling of old wood, nuts and chocolate. Some Madeira. (3.5)
Flavor: Starting with sweet Sherry notes, brown bread, vinous Madeira notes. (4)
Palate: Medium low carbonation, small light bubbles, soft and smooth texture, a very good body, somewhat dry finish. (4)
Overall: A very good maturation of a strong ale. (4.5)
