Reserve Special Black Ale

Apperance: The beer is nearly black, has a small brown head that leaves no lacing but has big curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling chocolate, dates, a whiff of smoked bread and soy sauce. (4.5)
Taste: Tasting of dark brown bread crust, dried dates and figs, dark roasted coffee and chocolate. (4)
Palate: Little carbonation, soft and oily, a big body and a dry finish. (4.5)
Overall: A nice balanced rich and complex beer (more RIS than strong ale to me). (4)
