Apperance: A clear chestnut beer, an off-white low head that leaves little lacing, some curtains. (3.5)
Aroma: An enourmous malt explosion, grain, molasses, porridge, bread. Some syrup and caramel. (4)
Taste: Starting with brown bread, honey and porridge, plum marmalade and some pear peel. (3.5)
Palate: Little carbonation, small bubbles, soft and oily, a slightly dry finish. (4)
Overall: Still very good, a bit less intense and complex than I remember last year. (4)
