Apperance: The brew is clouded amber, has an off-white head that leaves little lacing but has good curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling butter, wood and ripe apples. A sour tone. (3.5)
Taste: Starting with sweet bread, toffee, apple vinegar, cask tones. (3)
Palate: Little carbonation, very small bubbles, medium body, a dry sour finish. (3)
Overall: Still don't really resonate with barrel aged beer, except when it is a RIS or similar. Or the spontaneous gems from Belgium. (3)
