Porter Baltique

Apperance: The beer is black with a light brown head, little lacing and rather small curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling of burnt bread, some ashes, dark dried fruits, sausages. (4)
Taste: Intensely sweet start, candid sugar, toast, dates, figs, dark chocolate, a hint of cocoa beans. (5)
Palate: Little carbonation, oily and smooth, a huge body. (4.5)
Overall: Really a treat, "probably the best Baltic porter in the world". (4.5)
