Apperance: The color is clear red and brown amber, an off-white rather small head, good curtains. (4)
Aroma: The smells are sweet, honey, plums, sherry and spices. (3.5)
Taste: Tasting of sweet raisins and other dried fruits, licorice. (3.5)
Palate: Medium carbonation, soft and oily, slightly sticky, a good body. (4)
Overall: A potent brew, but a bit paler than a five year stored bottle. (4)
