Barley Wine

Apperance: A hazy hazel to chestnut brew, a warm off-white head that settles quickly leaving no lacing, but has some curtains. (3)
Aroma: Smelling of caramel, burned sugar, honey, apricots and orange marmalade. (4)
Taste: Burned sugar, caramel, butter scotch, apricot marmalade, orange peel. (4)
Palate: Low carbonation, small bubbles, oily and sticky, a big body, a warm dry finish. (4)
Overall: I had expected more Madeira. sherry and Marzipan. Should maybe have been kept a few more years. (3.5)
