Double Old Thumper Ale

Apperance: A hazy dark amber brew, a high fluffy warm off-white head that leaves much lacing and has big curtains. (4.5)
Aroma: Smelling like cardamom wheat buns, nuts, sherry. (3.5)
Flavor: Starting sweet bread (or buns), Marzipan and cardamom and brown sugar, then bitter cherry seeds. (3.5)
Palate: Medium carbonation, thick, oily and sticky, a big body and slow dry finish. (4)
Overall: It has potential, this one, but does not really deliver. A bit to much bitterness and stickyness. (3.5)
