Old Guardian Barley Wine Style Ale

Apperance: The beer is clear copper amber, a warm off-white head leaving good lacing and small curtains. (4.5)
Aroma: Smelling hoppy, grass, nettles, pine. Then sweet dried fruits, honey, heather. (4)
Taste: Sweet toffee, brown bread with honey, bitter oranges, dried apricots, then bitter citric peel. Slightly boozy. (3.5)
Palate: Medium carbonation, small bubbles, oily and sticky, a coarse dry finish. (3)
Overall: Once again I have consumed a barley wine far too young. (3.5)
