Apperance: A dark chestnut colored beer. An off-white head with small lacing but good curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling of nuts, chocolate covered orange marmalade, caramel and sherry. (4)
Flavor: Tasting of sweet brown bread, toffee, bitter orange, red ripe apples. (4)
Palate: Low carbonation, a soft texture, sticky and oily. A big body with a little dry finish. (4)
Overall: In all a good strong ale, should maybe mature a bit. (3.5)
