Apperance: An amber beer with an off-white head that leaves good lacing. (4.5) Aroma: The smell is in the sweet area rather clean, syrup, some shortbread, citric hop notes - orange, (4) Flavor: Tasting somewhat sweet toffee, some orange sour as well but mainly bitter hops, grass and a bit floral. A remaining bitter aftertaste. Very well balanced. (4.5) Palate: Rather high carbonation, small bubbles and a creamy feeling. (4) Overall: A really good ale, suitable for a steak pie or some fish'n chips. Or just drinking. (4)
