Apperance: A clear amber colored beer. A low off-white head with some lacing and good curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling of nuts, apple, hard toffee and caramel. (4)
Flavor: Tasting toffee, sweet bread, brown sugar, apple marmalade and sweet licorice. (3.5)
Palate: Medium low carbonation, a soft texture. A big body. (3.5)
Overall: A good strong winter beer. (4)
