Apperance: A black brown beer. A tan head with good lacing and good curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling of nuts, grape-fruit peel and pine needles. (3.5)
Taste: Tasting sweet burnt brown bread, orange marmalade and bitter hay. (3.5)
Palate: Low carbonation, a coarse (and oily!) texture. A big body with a very dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: Rather complex, rather good balance. But maybe too much of all. (3.75)
