Apperance: A dark black colored beer. A brown head with good lacing and good curtains. (4.5)
Aroma: Smelling of bread, dates, clove and ginger. (4.25)
Taste: Tasting deep of roasted malt, grape-fruit peel, strong coffee and minced pie. (4)
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft and oily texture. A big body with a very dry finish. (4)
Overall: Extremely potent, a very stout beer. Many complex spices. Nearly too much ... but not in a bad way. (4)
