Apperance: A clear dark amber with a hint of ruby, a beige quickly dissipating head that leaves little lacing. (3.5)
Aroma: The smell has some upfront sweetness with dried fruits, raisins and caramel, some burnt bread, a hint of hops. (3.5)
Flavor: The taste is mainly sweet and malty, but has a good finish from bitter hops. Syrup, dark bread, bitter orange and a metallic presence. (3.5)
Palate: Medium high carbonation, quite refreshing, some alcohol and dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: Rather well balanced, a slightly above average "Easter beer". (4)
