Apperance: An amber, brown-orange brew, an off-white head with nearly no lacing. (3) Aroma: The smell is mostly from the malts, grain, a bready sweetness. (3) Flavor: Tasting initially quite sweet, toffee and syrup, then white bread crust, a sourness takes over, a bit of orange and lemon, a rather small bitterness that lasts a bit too short. (3) Palate: Rather high carbonation, fizzy, rather refreshing. Not much dryness. (2.5) Overall: Not bad, but really nothing stands out. Probably goes best with plain traditional food "meat and potatoes". (3)
