Apperance: The beer is clear brown, a tan head that leaves nearly no lacing, a few curtains. (3)
Aroma: The smell is mostly malty, cereal and flour, sweet toffee notes and green apples. (3.5)
Taste: The taste is as well malt dominated, caramel and molasses, some fresh fruit acidity and a small but sharp bitterness at the end. (3.5)
Palate: Little carbonation, refreshing with a small dry twist at the end. (3)
Overall: An nice but not extra-ordinary Scottish ale. (3.5)
