Apperance: The brew is dark brown - nearly black, hints of deep red, a tan head leaving good lacing. (4)
Aroma: The smell is containing ripe fruits and dried ones, a sour note that is a bit off - like a ripe dishcloth. (3)
Flavor: Some initial burned caramel sweetness, bitter coffee bean tones. (3)
Palate: Medium carbonation, the body is somewhat flat and watery, a nice dry finish tough. (3.5)
Overall: This stout is s bit indecisive, not smooth, not dry and not sweet. But not bad either! (3)
