Apperance: The beer is clear and deep ruby red, with a tan head that recedes fairly quickly, but leaves good lacing. (4)
Aroma: The smell is sweet and nutty, but also some earthy aromas. (3.5)
Taste: The taste is less sweet, but has lots of bread and crust nuances, burnt ones. Then we have some fruitiness, like unsweetened spicy apple tart, followed by rather much bitter notes. The latter gets a bit offensive. (3)
Palate: Medium to high carbonation which sharpens the feeling somewhat, the dryness is a bit coarse. (3)
Overall: This beer should for me have been a bit sweeter and softer. (3)
