Apperance: The beer is dark brown, almost charcoal, an off-white head that leaves little lacing. (3)
Aroma: The aromas are of roasted malt, burnt bread and a hint of roasted coffee beans. (3)
Taste: The taste is sweet as of brown sugar, dried plums and bitter dark roasted coffee beans. (3.5)
Palate: Medium carbonation, rather simple and fresh body, a dry finish. (3)
Overall: Quite decent, I could have taken it for a (milk) stout. One of their best beers. (3.5)
