Apperance: The brew is very black, especially for a saison, the head is brown and leaves good lacing. (4.5)
Aroma: The smell is full of caramel malty aromas, burnt toast and coffee beans. (4)
Taste: The taste is rather sweet, a bit licorice, dried fruits, figs and dates, strong wine, Madeira and Sherry. (4.5)
Palate: A light carbonation, a bit syrup and alcoholic feeling, but very smooth. (4)
Overall: Don't know if their style assignment is correct "Imperial Dark Saison", anyway a very good after-dinner beer. (4.5)
