Extra Strong Vintage Ale

Apperance: The beer is hazy amber with an orange tone, the off-white head settles slowly, leaves little lacing, but there are curtains. (4)
Aroma: The smell is mostly in the earthy area, some sour milk, leather, old wood and baking soda. (3.5)
Flavor: Starting sweet, brown sugar, ripe dark fruits, vinous and then vinegar, then a bit sharp bitterness, like crushed grape seeds. (4)
Palate: Medium carbonation, rather sharp small bubbles, a dry finish (3)
Overall: Not bad, but honing the sharpness and increase the earthiness would improve it, IMHO. (3.5)
