Apperance: The beer is black with hints of brown, a very low tan head, no laing, but curtains. (3.5)
Aroma: Dark roasted tones in the smell, coffee beans and very dark chocolate. Dark toast. (3.5)
Taste: The taste is sweet, brown sugar, brown bread, raisins, slightly vinous, slightly bitter. Yeast is noted. (3.5)
Palate: Low carbonation, rather soft and complex body. (3)
Overall: A bit flat, but not bad. (3.5)
