Anniversary Ale - Seventeen (Dry Hopped Black Lager)

Apperance: This beer is dark, very dark, brown, clear and with a high, slowly settling, head. Lots of lacing! (4.5)
Aroma: The smell is mostly herbal, grass, pine, but a bit dusty. (3.5)
Taste: Tasting first sweet, dark brown bread, some dried fruits, herbal notes of grass, pine, some anisette. (4)
Palate: Medium to low carbonation, smooth and thick, a dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: A very different lager indeed. Not bad at all, but could have been a stout. (4)
