Apperance: The beer is dark brown, almost black, the head is tan, settles rather quickly, in a soap-bubble fashion that leaves rather little lacing. (3)
Aroma: The smell is full of roasted burned tones, oats, bread, coffee beans. Some sweetness, like ripe dried fruits. (4)
Flavor: Surprisingly little sweetness, dry roasted tones of bread, chocolate, nuts and coffee. A distinct sharp sourness. (3)
Palate: Low carbonation, a bit watery but a very dry long finish. (3.5)
Overall: Not 100% convinced, a bit uneven. (3)
