Apperance: The beer is satin black, has a firm tan head that settles reallt slow and leaves good lacing. (4.5)
Aroma: The smell is full of ripe dried fruits, plums and raisins, some nuts as well, a sherry nuance and some grounded coffee. (4)
Taste: The taste also starts very sweet, brown sugar on fig marmalade with dark bread. Then vinous tones and dark espresso notes. Some crushed bitter cherry seeds as well to balance the sweetness. (4.5)
Palate: Low carbonation, very small bubbles, smooth and syrup like, a dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: A very well balanced porter, must really be enjoy slowly. (4)
