Apperance: The beer is clear dark brown, an off-white head that leaves some lacing and has curtains. (3.5)
Aroma: The smell has some malty nuances, sweet dried fruits, some sour feelings, vinegar and bitter peeling. (3.5)
Taste: The taste is very sweet, sugar, dried fruits, some strong wine and bitter seeds. (4)
Palate: A light carbonation, a complex body, soft initially, then dry. (4)
Overall: A, as the style is, rather hoppy barley wine. Sampled at a beer tasting at De Klomp, Linköping, Sweden. (3.5)
