Apperance: The beer is dark amber, brownish with ruby hints, an off-white small head, little lacing. (4)
Aroma: The smell is nutty and fruity, rather modest. (3.5)
Taste: Tasting initially of dark bread with jam on red berries, pears, ripe apples and some lemon zest. (4)
Palate: Medium carbonation, soft bubbles and fluid, refreshing and very little dry. (4)
Overall: A nice soothing real ale, relaxing fruit flavor (from the blackberries). (4)
