Winter Ale

Apperance: Clear dark amber liquid, much foam with remaining laces. (4)
Aroma: Distinct smell of grape fruit, combined with grass, bread and a bit of ... almond? In all very floral. (4)
Taste: The taste is dominated by the hops in citric aromas combined with sweet caramel malt, a well balanced brew. (4)
Palate: Good carbonation which makes it pleasant to drink. (4)
Overall: Perfect on a snowy evening like this! (4.5)

Bottle. 2012-01-21: A vertical tasting of '11, '10 and '09 shows that storing does not improve this beer.
