Red Ale

Apperance: A clear amber beer with red traits, a dark off-white head, good lacing and some curtains. (4)
Aroma: The smell is very malty, bread and porridge galore, some raisins and a splash of grape-fruit. Smells like a healthy breakfast! (4)
Taste: The taste has a brown bread character, with dried fruits - dates, topped with grape-fruit peels. (3.5)
Palate: Medium carbonation, a robust body and almost coarse dryness. (4)
Overall: A good, rather dry, red ale. (3.5)
