Apperance: The beer is black with brown tones, a high brown head that settles slowly and leaves some lacing. Good curtains. (4)
Aroma: Smelling much of roasted malt, toast, dark roasted coffee beans, sweet licorice, it also has much vinous and fruity tones. (4.5)
Taste: Starting sweet, dark chocolate, dried fruits, sherry, bitter coffee and cocoa beans. (4)
Palate: Low carbonation, small soft bubbles, a huge body, an oily syrup feeling, a dry finish. (4)
Overall: Well done, well balanced, much to discover while sipping. (4.5)
