Ichtegem's Grand Cru

Apperance: Cuvée 2007. Slightly hazy red/brown/copper, a light high tan head, settles rather quickly leaving good lacing. Some curtains. (4)
Aroma: The smell is fresh and sour, sour creme, red fruits and some wood. (3.5)
Taste: The taste starts sweet, fructose, then dried fruits, raisins, apples and raspberries, a touch of sour rhubarbs, some yeast and leather. (4.5)
Palate: Little carbonation, a soft texture, a medium body, smooth and not dry. (4)
Overall: A good, clean, solid, honest, original beer. Smooth temptation. Exquisite with cheese. (4)
