Apperance: The beverage is dark dark brown, an off-white to tan head that leaves little lacing. Heavy curtains. (4)
Aroma: The smell has dark dried fruits, figs, dates, some vinous tones, roasted malt, toast, coffee and chocolate. (4)
Taste: Tasting very sweet upfront, raisins, dates, sherry notes, some sweet licorice. (3.5)
Palate: Medium low carbonation, tiny foamy bubbles, soft slightly sticky and oily, a warm finish. (4)
Overall: As many American Belgian styles it has a tendency to be too sweet. (3.5)
