Apperance: The beer is BLACK, a brown good head with some lacing and good curtains. (4.5)
Aroma: Smelling vinous, marzipan, licorice, arrack and some ripe cheese. (4.5)
Taste: The taste is very sweet, caramelized sugar, vanilla, chocolate covered cherries, liqueur. An alcohol presence. (3.5)
Palate: Medium low carbonation, soft and oily, a bit alcoholic, a slightly dry finish. (3.5)
Overall: It looked and smelled super, but the rest was a bit too evident sugar and alcohol for me. (3.5)
