Old Stock Ale

Apperance: The beer is clear brown with a hint of orange, the head is off-white leaving little lacing but very good curtains. (4)
Aroma: The smell is ripe, sweet fruits, figs, dates and apples, some vinous notes, but also muffin batter, Marzipan and nuts. (4)
Taste: The taste is sweet, dried fruits, raisins, oranges, apricots, Marzipan, almonds, alohol, some grassy bitterness, cocoa beans and bitter orange peel. (3.5)
Palate: Medium low carbonation, soft and oily feeling, a medium body finished of with an alcoholic warmth and a slight dryness (3.5)
Overall: Good, but a bit thinner and more alcoholic than the last two years. (3.5)
